Our Story
In 2010, Laird Laabs, his son, and a few partners in the tile and stone industry conceptualized a retail showroom serving as an outlet for a few of the major tile and stone suppliers in the greater Seattle area. Discount Tile Outlet opened its doors with a modest selection of coordinated tile options for homeowners needing solutions for their home remodeling projects.
As the business developed, the opportunity to provide cabinetry and countertops was realized. Vanities Etc. launched a few years later followed by Kitchen Cabinets Etc. in adjoining showrooms for a near seamless shopping experience. Our family-owned gallery of showrooms has grown to be Eastside Design Group, a gallery of three showrooms encompassing 5,000 square feet of kitchen and bath cabinetry, countertops, luxury tile and natural stone.
Staffed by accomplished designers and creative professionals, we work to help you with your design and supply needs for your remodel or new construction projects.
